Malaga pair out for glory in Marbella Masters

Local pair Bea González and Marta Ortega have made it to the quarter-finals of the Cervezas Victoria Marbella Master after victory on Thursday against Isabel Domínguez and Bárbara Las Heras.

They are joined there, in the men's category, by Marbella's Ernesto Moreno, partnered by José Rico Dasi.

This is the second year in an row that the World Padel Tour has come to the Costa del Sol. This year's tournament is also a Master tournament, meaning that more points and larger prize money are on offer.

The tournament, which got under way last Saturday, reaches its climax on Sunday with the men's and women's finals.

All of the games are being played at the Palacio de los Deportes in San Pedro Alcántara (Marbella).
