Local tennis prodigy Alejandro Davidovich, currently 87th in the ATP rankings, will play in his hometown in next year's ATP Challenger Marbella.
2020 will be the third year running that the town's Puente Romano Tennis Club hosts an ATP Challenger tournament. It will be played between 30 March and 5 April, with 48 players competing.
The tournament's organisers are hoping to attract between five and 10 top 100 players, one of these being the aforementioned Davidovich.
"I'm really excited to play in front of my family and friends -that'll be really great extra motivation," the 20-year-old said.
