Malagas womens team staged an impressive comeback on Sunday, putting a poor first-half performance behind them and storming to a 3-1 victory against Valencia B.
Valencia were the better team in the first 45 minutes, peppering Noelias goal and forcing her into some impressive saves, and went aheadhalf an hour in when Liliana Llopis took advantage of some poor defending to fire home.
Malaga were invigorated by half-time changes, with Edna replaced by Carol and Farfán making way for Encarni, and it was the latter who got her side back into the game on 66 minutes, scoring from a Buceta assist.
The hosts play started to look more assured, while the visitors inexperience began to show, and Malagas second arrived with ten minutes to go, Arantxa netting from within the six-yard box.
Any remaining doubts in the local fans minds were put to rest seven minutes later when Adriana finished off a terrific team move to guarantee her sides first home win of the season.
