Linense and Marbella came out of Sunday's game with a point apiece having battled against a poor surface which made the game much more open than either side would have wanted.

The visitors started in their usual high-intensity fashion and Manel was on his toes to react quickest when the ball broke in the six-yard box to fire his side into the lead in the fifth minute.

Marbella's joy was shortlived, though. Just six minutes later, a mistake from Wilfred gifted the hosts the equaliser. His miskick landed at the feet of Igor Martínez who fed Dopi who made Marbella's goalkeeper pay with an emphatic finish.

Despite the early splurge of action the pitch stifled both sides and resulted in a scrappy, yet open game.

It wasn't until the second half that Marbella's Faurlín and Elías started to assert their authority in midfield that the away side started to create the lion's share of the chances but, once again, their finishing is what allowed the two points to slip away.
