Femenino let two more points slip as poor start to the season continues

  • In a game of few chances, hosts Alhama came closest to finding the breakthrough on Sunday

Malaga's women's team picked up their second point of the season on the road in Alhama on Sunday with a goalless draw in a game of few chances.

The visitors had to dig deep to come away with the draw, though could have won the game themselves.

However, the best chance went the way of Alhama in the 69th minute when defender Dennisse powered a header from Carmen Fesneda's corner which required the intervention of keeper Noelia Gil.

The result leaves Malaga without a win in their opening three matches (two draws and a defeat) back in the Second Division, just four places off bottom spot.
