  • A point against China on Monday sees La Roja qualify for the last 16 at the Women's World Cup in France

Spain just keep making history at this year's Women's World Cup. Now, for the first time ever, they have sealed a place in the competition's knock-out phases after a 0-0 draw with China on Monday in Le Havre.

Chinese keeper Peng Shimeng was unbeatable during the 90 minutes (Spain had 23 shots to China's one) but ultimately a point was enough to seal their passage to the next round on goal difference.

Spain will play their next game on Monday.
