Benalmádena Darts League (BDL) held its trophy presentation night in the Bonanza Bar in Benalmádena Costa on Tuesday night.

The event was attended by players from the 14 teams that compete in the winter league, which ended last month.

The BDL, comprised of mostly British players, has been running for 21 years and is sponsored by BWS and Signage.

More than 30 trophies were awarded in categories such as the men's and ladies' singles and doubles competitions, the highest checkout and the most 180s hit throughout the season.

The Beer Garden C finished top of League 1. They also scooped the Gold Cup and the Champions League Cup.

The Beer Garden has one of the best track records in the league and has collected an impressive cabinet of silverware over the years: this is the seventh time the C team has finished top of League 1.

Once again, one of the team's star players, Wayne Dunn, collected the trophies for the most 180s hit throughout the season (7), as well as for the least darts (13 dart check-out)) thrown during a match.

The Mad Monk also collected several trophies, including runners up in League 1 and the Gold Cup.
