  • Marbella looked the most likely to win but had to settle for a point on their trip to Huelva

The points were shared on Sunday as Segunda B's two teams to beat of late, Recreativo and Marbella, faced off at the Nuevo Colombino in Huelva.

It was the visitors who got off to the better start, maintaining possession and creating dangerous situations throughout the opening 30 minutes.

Mustafá created all sorts of problems down the right wing and he laid on a chance for Juergen who fired narrowly over the bar after nine minutes.

Though the high pressure kept the hosts pegged back in their own half, Marbella failed to create many clear-cut opportunities, barring one spurned by captain Añón on the half-hour mark.

A tame effort from Recre's Iago Díaz and an off-target strike from Caye Quintana came just before the half-time whistle interrupted the hosts' newfound rhythm.

The start of the second half belonged to the goalkeepers. First, Marc Martínez pulled off an impossible reaction save to deny Cruz's header from the corner, then Wilfred pulled off an equally impressive stop to deny Valentín.

The remaining 20 minutes was end to end, with seemingly the first to score set to claim all three points. However, the elusive goal never came and the game ended goalless.

With the draw, Recre and Marbella's unbeaten runs have extended to 15 and 12, respectively.
