Women rugby players raise funds for Cudeca with tournament this Saturday

This Saturday, 30 March, the sports complex on the Teatinos campus of Malaga university will host the seventh edition of the Women's Rugby-7 Tournament Against Cancer which this year will see all proceeds go to the Cudeca Hospice based in Benalmádena.

Teams from Malaga, Seville, Granada and Ciudad Real will all participate with the double aim of raising funds for the fight against cancer and to give greater visibility to women's rugby.

The day's events will begin at 9am with the inauguration act, attended by representatives from the city hall, Malaga university, the sports club and Cudeca before the action kicks off at 10am.

The games will run until around 5.30pm after which there will be a prize draw of gifts donated by sponsors.
