7,500 to run in 29th annual Malaga half marathon

A total of 7,500 people will be running the CaixaBank Teatro Soho Malaga half marathon this Sunday, with another 500 on the waiting list.

Of them, 5,817 are men and 1,683 women, a slightly greater female presence than last year.

Runners represent a total of 53 different nationalities and there are special categories for people with disabilities to take part in the 29th edition of the race.

The runners will set off from the start line in the city's Paseo del Parque at 9.30am.
