Another Monday night fixture awaits Malaga next as they travel to Soria to take on mid-table Numancia (18 March, kick-off 9pm).
The notoriously-cold Nuevo Estadio Los Pajaritos will be the venue. At over 1,000 metres above sea level and with few wind breaks from the stands, in winter especially the ground historically has given the hosts an advantage.
However, Numancia's form of late has been nothing to write home about with just three wins in the last 13 matches, leaving them comfortably in mid-table, eight points above the drop zone and 12 away from sixth.
Their form at home, though, is good, winning 50 per cent of their Segunda matches this season so far at Los Pajaritos - compared to just one win on the road.
If Malaga are to arrest a run of just one win in seven, they will have to overcome a compact 4-5-1, as well as the elements.
