Sheikh Abdullah Al-Thani flew into Malaga on Friday morning with his daughter Hamyan. The chairman of Malaga CF is back for the first time since May 2017.
During his absence, while he controlled the club from a distance, Malaga were relegated to Segunda division and survived a management crisis last summer.
Al-Thani left the private terminal at Malaga airport driving a black Range Rover. He was followed by Hamyan, who is currently the head of the club's junior Academy and the women's team, left in another vehicle.
The Sheikh was met by club executive Ben Barek and head of security, Jordi Vilardebó.
