Los Boliches gears up for biggest ever International Inline Hockey Tournament

Twelve teams will compete for the trophy

This evening sees the start of the biggest International Inline Hockey Tournament to date to take place in Fuengirola, with 12 teams fighting for the trophy.

Local teams Fuengirola Lions and Barona will be joined by three teams from the UK: Brighton Stormers, Basildon Alstarz and Stokemon, who are back-to-back UK national champions.

Two teams from Finland will also participate: the always strong Pahalampi (with Finland internation Jimi Palanto and Victor Granberg who played in the last world championships for Sweden).

Madrid, Aguilas (Murcia), Sancti Petri and Búhos (from Granada) make up the rest of the participants.

Matches start this afternoon, Friday, at 5pm and continue on Saturday from 8am to 10pm. The final will be played on Sunday at 5:20pm.

Entrance at the Los Boliches rink is free for all.
