Following two consecutive defeats, Marbella got back on the right track with a 4-0 thrashing of Sevilla Atlético on Sunday.
It didn't start well, however, with the hosts at the Estadio Antonio Lorenzo suffering a few scares against a side for whom the scoreline didn't reflect their performance.
Wilfred in the Marbella goal was twice called upon to keep the game goalless, but his side weathered the storm and took the lead before half time when captain Añón swept home Rafa Muñoz's cutback.
The Marbella keeper was kept busy in the second half too, making three saves to demonstrate exactly why he is the best in the division.
Marbella's second came at the perfect time. In the 74th minute, Montero controlled the long ball perfectly before converting to relieve the growing pressure.
Just four minutes later, the forward scored his second in an almost identical action, but with plenty more time to apply the finishing touch.
The rout was complete with just five minutes to go when Sillero scored on the rebound after Lolo Pavón's header came back off the crossbar.
The win lifts Marbella to eighth place, four points off early leaders Melilla.
