Unicaja’s ranking in the Liga Endesa, also known as the Liga ACB, has taken another hit as they played against Andorra on Sunday and lost 66-60. This is the Malaga team's fourth consecutive loss in the league, and the team have not been exhibiting great basketball since the beginning of the season. The team have not been improving and this is taking its toll on their very full calendar of matches.
This complicates their bid for the Copa del Rey as they will now have to win at least five out of their remaining eight matches. This is not impossible but after four losses the team's spirit must have dampened.
On Friday at 8.45 pm, Unicaja will take on current Euroliga leaders CSKA Moscow in Malaga at the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena. Tickets are still available for what is sure to be a tense and competitive basketball match, visit www.unicajabaloncesto.com.
