Marbella got back to winning ways with their first victory in three games, seeing off Lorca by two goals to one at the Municipal stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Head coach Fernando Estévez surprised everyone with an attacking line-up to take the game to the visitors' five-man defence - and it paid off.
After just six minutes, Ferrón picked up the ball 25 metres out and took advantage of the lack of press to surge towards goal and fire the ball into the corner of Alberto Hortal's net.
This, though, didn't deflate Lorca and they had a way back in the 18th minute when Lolo Pavón's attempted clearance ended up upending Pedro in the area. Carrasco stepped up to convert.
The panorama changed completely in the second half with the introduction of Luis Rioja. His introduction freed up Marbella's other attacking talent, including the side's leading scorer Chus Hevia who headed home Rioja's cross to give his side the win.
