French centre-back Paul Baysse has completed a move to Malaga after signing a three-year contract with the club on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old underwent exhaustive medical checks on Tuesday due to the number of serious injuries he has sustained over the last few years, before signing the deal, which includes the option for a fourth year.
Baysse, who was a free agent having left Nice at the end of the season, played 22 games for the French side last season, scoring two goals, and becomes the first officially announced signing, with the deal for Míchel's son Adrián yet to be officially confirmed by Malaga.
