Turkish side Fenerbahce are keen on taking goalkeeper Carlos Kameni to Istanbul and have offered him a significant pay rise in a bid to pry him away from Malaga.
The Cameroonian is well settled on the Costa and hadn’t intended to move on, having signed a contract extension until 2020 only last year, but with his place under threat from the incoming Roberto, he is now considering his future.
An agreement over personal terms has been agreed with Roberto, but negotiations over payment of the transfer fee continue, with Malaga wanting to pay in installments.
These details are expected to be ironed out and a deal could be announced soon.
Likewise, Malaga are hopeful that a deal can be reached with Paul Baysse, who will be available on a free upon the conclusion of his contract with French club Nice.
