Activities included archery, building fires with only one match, pitching up tents blindfolded and an orientation course using a compass.
The senior resort Sanyres Puerto Banús held their first International Bridge Tournament on Monday, November, 3rd in their facilities. Experienced players from different bridge clubs based on the coast and the group of Sanyres residents competed.

Around four hundred guests attended the recent wedding of José Vázquez, from Marbella, and Claudia Poppenhager, from Germany. The square in front of the La Encarnación church in Marbella was a mass of guests in traditional Andalusian dress.
Donors enter a draw for a weekend for two in the La Posada del Torcal hotel including meals, drinks and a massage.
PLAYING GOLF FOR CHARITY
A recent event held at Guadalmina Golf raised over €4,700 to be divided between ADANA, Estepona’s shelter for abandoned animals, and Breast Cancer. In addition a private donation of €200 was made to ADANA.

A new social and small business network held its second meeting in Oscar’s Bar in Fuente de Piedra on October 30th. A competition to choose the name of the network was won by Justin Brindley, one of the group’s new members, who suggested ‘Network A92’, as most members came from a corridor skirting the A-92 road.
