The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, announced this Thursday (29 July) on his Twitter account that the region has already administered its 10 millionth dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
Moreno confirmed that 3 out of 4 people in Andalucía, over 12 years old, have had at least one dose of a vaccine and said that "every vaccine that is given is important."
"We lead the vaccination programme in Spain and we are at the forefront of recovery," Juanma Moreno concluded in his message.
This Thursday the vaccination of minors against Covid-19 began, starting with those who have reached the age of 17. Vaccination appointments can be requested by parents and guardians, who must accompany the minor to the vaccination points.
