  • Andalusian president Juanma Moreno, who tested positive for coronavirus last week, has called for people to use common sense

The Covid-19 vaccines are beginning to deliver the desired result and the number of coronavirus patients in hospitals in Andalucía has dropped, but there is still a long way to go.

With this in mind, the president of the Junta, Juanma Moreno, who is self-isolating after testing positive for coronavirus last week, has issued a warning to the region’s population with regard to this first weekend in June.

“The number of people in hospitals is dropping, the vaccination campaign is advancing well and we, once again, have beat the record for the number of doses given, but it is not yet reflected in the incidence rate. Let's double our efforts and use a lot common sense this weekend", said Moreno in a Twitter message who pointed out his first duty is "to protect Andalusians from the pandemic and recover the economy”.
