Andalucía records 12 deaths and 610 cases of coronavirus - the lowest figure in two months

Andalucía has added 610 new cases of Covid-19 coronavirus this Monday, 1 March, the lowest figure since the 407 registered on 2 January.

According to data from the Junta de Andalucía’s Ministry of Health the region has recorded 12 deaths, the lowest figure since last Monday (11).

Seville is the province that has added the most infections with 165, followed by Malaga with 115, Almeria with 102, Cadiz with 71, Granada with 52, Cordoba with 51, Jaén with 38 and Huelva with 16.

Regarding the 12 deceased, it is the lowest mortality figure since last Monday (11). In between, 13 were added on Sunday, Saturday 38, Friday 33, Thursday 58, Wednesday 93 and Tuesday 100. By province, Malaga registered six, Cadiz five, Almeria one and the rest none.

Andalucía has 1,717 patients in hospital with coronavirus this Monday, 1 March, 25 less than on Sunday and 621 less than seven days ago. Of these 432 are in an intensive care unit - that is six fewer than the day before and 132 fewer than last Monday.
