  • The Junta has released a three-minute video featuring emblematic places and people from across the region ahead of the Andalucía Day celebrations on 28 February

The Junta de Andalucía has premiered a new anthem, to the rhythm of rap and flamenco, to help mark the region's Andalucía Day celebrations on 28 February. The day marks the 1980 referendum in which the Andalusian electorate voted for the statute that made Andalucía an autonomous region of Spain.

The video features emblematic places and people from all over Andalucía under the tagline 'Andalucía, land of all'.

The song was composed by two young Andalusian artists Pablo Sudoku and Teresa Hernández from the Campo de Gibraltar. And the producer was Robert Chacón who recorded the song in his Al-Alba studios, in La Línea.

The Junta de Andalucía has made the video available on its social media profiles, citing the lyrics "Andalucía, land of eternal light, of free and brave souls. Because living in Andalucía is different."
