  • The Junta says the certificate could be used for 'a trip or any activity' that requires proof of vaccination

The Andalusian government has announced this Tuesday that in "the next few days" the patients who have received the two doses of the vaccine against Covid-19 "will be able to prove it through a QR code".

The certificate will allow the user to demonstrate that the required doses of vaccine have been administered "so that they can prove it for a trip or any activity that requires it" said Junta spokesman Elías Bendodo at a press conference.

Bendodo said that Andalucía has administered 163,048 doses of the coronavirus vaccine to date, representing 75.3 per cent of the number received. The Junta plans to hold back 20 per cent of the total received each week to guarantee the puntual delivery of the second jabs in case of any logistics or supply delays due to bad weather.
