Only 5.2% of people in Spain have Covid antibodies, study concludes

In Malaga province that figure dropped to just 3.6 per cent

The third and final stage of the national Covid-19 antibodies study, carried out over the last two months, has concluded that 5.2 per cent of the population of Spain has antibodies. This is the same figure as the second phase, published a month ago, and means that Spain in a long way from so-called herd immunity.

Almost 55,000 people across the country took part in the three phases.

In Malaga province, including the Costa del Sol, the results showed that 3.6 per cent of the local population have antibodies that give them assumed immunity at the moment.
