The Supreme Court has withdrawn arrest warrants for six ex-Catalan leaders in Europe, including Carles Puigdemont, after Germany said it would only extradite him for embezzlement and not rebellion as Spain wanted.

The judge in Spain criticised the German court's "lack of commitment".
