The outpouring of public anger after the trial of five men accused of a gang rape in Pamplona has shone the spotlight on the Spanish judicial system this week. Politicians reacted to the demonstrations by suggesting the definition of a rape crime should be changed, and the Justice minister, Rafael Catalá, was criticised by some in the legal profession for interfering.
