Casting for around 65 extras for a film that will be shot entirely in Frigiliana is to take place on 7 and 8 August in the village's sport pavilion.

The award-winning film producer, Martin Nuza, and director Craig Ruddock, along with a cast of around 80 people, will start filming in the Axarquía village in October.

The film, whose title has not been revealed, is a romantic action thriller. It was originally going to be filmed in Estepona and in other locations on the Costa del Sol, but after spending a weekend in Frigiliana, Nuza and his wife, "Saw the beauty of the village and the script was completely rewritten".

Casting will run from 9.30 am until 8pm on Saturday 7 August and on Sunday 8 from 10am to 5pm in the village's indoor sports pavilion.

The producers are looking for male actors between 29 and 40 years old who speak English and have Latin features, women between 18 and 25 in swimsuits for scenes in a swimming pool, men from 18 to 20 with a good level of English and men and women of all ages who will be recruited as extras.

They are also looking for production assistants with audiovisual experience, as well as local hairdressers and make-up artists.
