New film about Torremolinos to promote the town's history

The film, which features a cameo role by Mayor José Ortiz, is expected to take around three weeks to complete

Filming has begun on a new film titled Torremolinos Siempre, a production that will be broadcast to promote the town's history through stories of the present.

The film, which features a cameo role by Mayor José Ortiz, is being shot on location by Milyuna Historias Productions and is expected to take around three weeks to complete.

Directed by Fernando Monzón and featuring actress Veronica Gregory, the film is based on a young girl who travels to the town for a vacation, but, after falling in love, decides to stay.

"We're very excited because we know the impact this film will have," the mayor said.
