The Andalucía region has added 355 new cases of coronavirus this Tuesday, 2 March, the lowest figure since the 306 recorded on 12 August, 2020 according to official data.
The Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (Ieca), has also confirmed 24 deaths, a figure higher than that of Monday (12) and lower than that of last Tuesday (100).
Almeria is the province that has added the most new infections with 90, followed by Malaga with 71, Cadiz with 57, Seville with 50, Granada with 47, Cordoba with 32, Jaén with six and Huelva with two.
The 24 deaths are more than the 12 on Monday, 13 on Sunday, 38 on Saturday, 33 on Friday, 58 on Thursday, 93 on Wednesday and 100 last Tuesday. Granada has registered seven deaths, followed by Cadiz with five, Malaga with four, Almeria, Huelva and Seville with two each, and Cordoba and Jaén with one each.
