In the Axarquía area the yellow alert will be in place from 9am to 11.59pm while on the Costa del Sol a warning has been issued between 10am and 5pm.
The forecast points to mainly cloudy skies although light rain is not ruled out on the western coast.

On holiday Monday the winds are likely to return with gusts up 20 km/h.
