Spain's State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated a yellow warning this Wednesday (24 February) due to strong gusts of wind in the province, specifically in the Antequera and Ronda areas.
The warning - active between 9am and 6pm - predicts strong gusts from the east or southwest of up to 70 kilometres per hour.
In the Strait of Gibraltar and along Cadiz coastline, a yellow warning has also been activated due to strong gusts and rough sea conditions.
Galicia, in the north of Spain is on an amber warning (significant risk). Waves that could reach six metres in height are expected on the A Coruña coast.
