San Pedro business owners call for access roads to be widened and better transport infrastructure

Apymespa is calling for mobility to be a priority in the new town plan for Marbella to prevent traffic congestion

The Small and Medium-Sized Businesses Association (Apymespa) in San Pedro Alcántara is asking for several roads to be widened, as part of the new town plan for Marbella, to prevent traffic congestion.

The association says the tunnel that divides San Pedro into two parts was built as cheaply as possible and has not done enough to solve the traffic problems in the area.

It is asking for the bypass and access roads to San Pedro and Puerto Banús to be widened, and also wants more parking to be provided, as well as the area south of the tunnel to be developed with decent infrastructure.
