Firefighters find the bodies of two people after Churriana blaze

Emergency services have found two bodies after putting out a fire in the Churriana, Malaga.

The alarm was raised at around 2.30am this Wednesday.

Several witnesses called the 112 emergency number to alert them to a fire in a house that they described as being made of 'sheet metal'.

Emergency services were quickly on the scene but firefighters found the two bodies after the flames were put out.

The bodies have been transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Malaga, where an autopsy will be performed.

The National Police have opened an investigation into the blaze but sources have told SUR that the first signs point to the origin of the fire being accidental.
