The 33-year-old man, of Finnish nationality, was arrested on the Costa del Sol after 18 months of investigations.
A simultaneous operation in Finland saw the arrests of three men, aged between 21 and 30, all Finnish and alleged members of the criminal network. Three house searches were carried out in which some 100,000 ecstasy pills, two rifles and a pistol were recovered, among other items "of interest to the investigation" said a police statement.
In the searches of two apartments linked to the suspect in Marbella, the police seized computer equipment, mobile devices and 30,000 euros.
