A public appeal has been made for information about sightings of a man who has been reported missing from Rincón de la Victoria.

He is 32-year-old Stefan Zablotny, of German nationality and 1.73 metres tall.

Stefan is described as of an athletic build, with blond hair and green eyes. He wears prescription glasses and has several tattoos on his arms.

When last seen on Monday, he was wearing a coat, cap and carrying a backpack.

His partner, Beatriz, has reported his disappearance to the Guardia Civil and has asked for the public’s help and also alerted the national association SOS Desaparecidos missing persons organisation to try to locate him.

She explained to SUR they he been living in the town for just a month and a half, after moving from Germany following a long-distance relationship of about two years and, therefore, Stefan does not speak any Spanish.

"He has left all his things, it's as if he had gone out for a walk," said his partner.

“I have no contact with his family or friends to know if they know anything," Beatriz confessed.
