Only three small villages in Malaga province have not registered any positive cases of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic according to official data published by the Junta de Andalucía.

They are villages of less than 300 inhabitants of the Serranía de Ronda: Atajate with a population of 168, Benadalid (215 inhabitants) and Faraján (253).

Their low population density and relative remoteness, as well as compliance with prevention and security measures, could be some of the reasons to explain why the coronavirus has not made an appearance in their municipalities.
