A host of Spanish provinces, including Malaga, will have access to new landline telephone prefixes starting from 8am this Wednesday - to end the saturation of their existing numbers.
Alicante, Almería, Cádiz, Cantabria, Ciudad Real, Huelva, Jaén, Lleida, Lugo, Madrid, Malaga, Navarra, Salamanca, Seville and Valencia will all get additional, new prefixes starting with the number ‘8’.
Specifically they are Madrid (prefix 815), Lugo (882), Salamanca (823) or Valencia (860). Fixed landline numbers can start with 865 in Alicante; 850 in Almería; 842 in Cantabria; 826 in Ciudad Real; 848 in Navarra and 854 in Seville.
