From this Wednesday, 23 December, to 6 January, 2021, both days inclusive, the Junta de Andalucía is allowing the entry and exit of people from the region “for travel to territories that are place of habitual residence of relatives or close friends.”
The easing of the mobility restrictions that included the banning of inter-region travel with only a few exemptions, were put in place on 11 December to contain the spread of infections caused by the Covid-19 virus.
During this period free mobility between the eight Andalusian provinces is still allowed after it was authorised on 18 December.
Christmas Eve curfew
The current 11pm to 6am night time curfew is also being relaxed on Christmas Eve (24 December) allowing the circulation of people until 1.30am on 25 December.
For the celebration of Christmas lunches and dinners on 24 and 25 December, the regional government has declared that “groups of people in spaces of public and private use, both indoors and outdoors, are restricted to a maximum of ten people, except in the case of cohabitants”.
