  • This handful of small municipalities have not registered a single positive case of Covid-19 since the start of the health crisis

In the countdown to the Christmas celebrations there are only five small towns in the Malaga provice that have remained virus-free since since the start of the pandemic in March.

The fortunate towns are Atajate, Benadalid, Canillas de Albaida, Faraján and Salares – three of them are in the Serranía de Ronda .

Until recently Pujerra was also on this list but now this town has a registered case of coronavirus.

The low population density as well as compliance with prevention and security measures, could be among the reasons why Covid-19 has not made an appearance in the municipalities.
