Local Police in Marbella shut down a party for 'influencers' in a villa in San Pedro Alcántara last weekend, proposing fines for 23 people, none of whom were wearing masks or practising social distancing.
Those who attended came from different provinces. According to the newspaper Málaga Hoy, this was an event for social media personalities, scheduled to take place from 12 to 16 November, with singer Omar Montes attending one day.
This is one of several large gatherings broken up by police in the last few days.
Also last weekend, in the Portada Alta neighbourhood of Malaga, two baptisms were celebrated at a local football pitch, attended by 83 people (of whom around 20 were children).
The organisers could face a fine of up to 60,000 euros.
