  • Videos of groups of young people dancing, without wearing masks or social distancing, were shared on the popular social network

The so-called 'cyber patrol' of the Local Police in Malaga were able to track down an illegal rave taking place in Álora after footage of the event was shared on Instagram.

In the videos, several groups of young people are seen dancing while gathered around a DJ, none of whom were observing social distancing or wearing a face mask.

Through investigations, police were able to identity who they consider to be the organisers and the promoters of the event, as well as the owner of the property in Álora.

This information has been passed on to the Junta de Andalucía regional authority with the organisers now facing hefty fines.
