British fugitive stopped at Malaga airport

The Glasgow man was wanted for alleged crimes of arms and drug trafficking

A 40-year-old British man was arrested by National Police at Malaga Airport last Friday in connection with a European Arrest and Surrender Order issued by authorities in the UK.

The individual, with initials D. J. H., was born in Glasgow and was wanted for alleged crimes of arms and drug trafficking and membership of a criminal group.

He faces between 14 years and a life sentence behind bars.
