Free masks to be handed out to children in Torremolinos

The materials have been distributed among several groups of volunteers who have signed up to make the masks

Torremolinos town hall has launched an initiative to provide all schoolchildren in the town with masks in a bid to control the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The project was announced by councillor of Citizen Participation, Josefina Serdio, who explained that the council had acquired the necessary material recommended by the Ministry of Health. The materials have now distributed among several groups of volunteers that have signed up to make the masks.

Thousands of adult masks have been made and distributed among health professionals and security forces.
