  • A couple who allegedly sexually exploited the girls and kept them in a flat in the town against their will have been arrested

The National Police have arrested a couple in Estepona for alleged sexual exploitation. This came after a woman called police on 7 April to report that she was being exploited and was unable to flee a flat in which the couple had set up a brothel.

It is alleged that the couple prevented several women, mainly of Paraguayan origin, from leaving and they were expected to be available to clients 24 hours a day. The woman would allegedly arrange the meetings while the man would provide clients with drugs.

A total of three women were freed as part of the operation.
