The so-called good type of rain fell over Malaga province last week, leaving no notable damage, instead supplying the area's reservoirs.
Reserves increased by three cubic hectometres during last week, which is practically equivalent to Malaga city's average total consumption for three weeks.
Following the downpours, the province's reservoirs are currently at 63.2 per cent capacity (616,85 Hm3).
The rain cleared over the weekend, but yellow weather warnings have been issued for Monday night and Tuesday morning on the Costa del Sol.
