New Vélez police station due to open at end of the month

Vélez-Málagas long-awaited new National Police headquarters could be open by the end of February, SUR has learned.

The building in the Cuesta del Visillo area of Torre del Mar, near the A-7 motorway, was initially scheduled to open almost a year ago.

However, delays to telecommunications and electricity connections led to the postponement of officers using the site.
