National Police arrested four Britons on suspicion of drugs trafficking and membership of a criminal organisation earlier this month.

Officers seized 231 kilos of hashish at a warehouse in Alhaurín el Grande. After noticing unusually high levels of activity in the unused industrial unit, police arrested the four Britons, aged between 30 and 35, during the successful Operación Luz.

A court has ordered the imprisonment of the four men who were allegedly involved.

A search of the warehouse revealed that 45 packets of hashish were concealed by a hydraulic opening system inside a large power transformer. Police also found 3,070 euros, two cars, a van and a fork-lift truck.
