  • Three hundred youngsters between the ages of 3 and 14 benefited from the Benalmádena initiative

As part of an initiative to ensure that all children received a gift from the Three Kings this year, Benalmádena town hall delivered hundreds of educational toys to families in danger of social exclusion.

Three hundred children between the age of three and fourteen benefited from the initiative, which was supported by Emabesa - the municipal water board - and numerous local businesses and associations.

Councillor for Social Welfare Alicia Laddaga explained that, as well as providing underprivileged children with a gift, the scheme aimed to "foster an interest in creativity and sport".

"The objective is that all children in our municipality can develop their skills and potential through sports and games, which is one of their fundamental rights of children."
