  • Kaspar Huijsman, director of BinckBank Spain, will look at a range of possible scenarios that could occur in both the economy and the stock markets during a talk in Marbella on 23 January

Tips and Trends in 2020 is the title of the first seminar organised for 2020 at the Binck Investment Academy in Marbella.

BinckBank Spain's director Kaspar Huijsman will give his view on whether this coming year will be one of new opportunities, although he admits that the current economic situation makes it increasingly more complicated to predict forward trends. Geopolitical tensions, Donald Trump’s unexpected decision-making, Central Bank policies, the trade war and the threat of an imminent recession make it ever more difficult to gauge the markets.

Huijsman will dive into a range of possible scenarios that could occur in both the economy and the stock markets during 2020. As well as indicating current trends in the economy, he will use practical examples to demonstrate what each scenario could potentially mean for stock portfolios.

Suitable for investors of all levels, BinckBank’s Tips and Trends in 2020 seminar promises to provide a general overview of the current state of the stock markets, highlight current insecurities, evaluate the sectors to consider and those to avoid and assess the risks involved in investing.

The seminar will be followed by a cocktail.

Kaspar Huijsman is the director of BinckBank in Spain and Portugal.  He has been working for BinckBank for over 16 years now and founded the Marbella office in 2006. As a seasoned expert in investing, he  gives seminars throughout Spain and Portugal, explaining how the platform works and how to assess the risks associated with investments.
